SaMoTer, Asphaltica 2017 – Confirmation for Asphalt Plant Sector.

Marini – Fayat Group was present at the 30th edition of SaMoTer

In Verona, asphalt plants have once again been the stars of the show. Marini has had resounding success during four days of intense activity, from 22nd to 25th February 2017, marking the 30th edition of SaMoTer, the International Exhibition of Earth Moving and Building Machinery, which has been running in conjunction with Asphaltica e Transpotec Logitec.

84 thousand visitors from 86 nations, 780 exhibitors from 25 countries, 10 pavilions and 6 external areas occupying a total of over 84 thousand sq.m. – these are the figures that the Verona Exhibition Authority are proud to communicate.

This SaMoTer exhibition will be remembered by Marini for its confirmation of interest shown by asphalt operators working on both the Italian and worldwide markets, amply proved by over 300 registered visits from various countries.

The visitors were welcomed on the 120 sq.m. internal stand as well as on the 200 sq.m. outside area, where Marini’s modern 200 ton Xpress 2500 P mobile plant was on show, fitted with a cold recycling line.

On the video wall of the multimedia stand timelapse videos were played showing the erection of Top Tower and Xpress plants, together with some spectacular 3D mapping of the Be Tower, a Marini company presentation and a commemorative 60 year FAYAT Group video.

On exhibit were also three special spaces to show Marini’s 24/7 after sales service and their batch plants, while the third space was dedicated to the Poliedro Company and its services.

Innovation, technology and simplicity were Marini’s key words for the Exhibition, which were expanded upon in the Convention held on Friday 24 February at the Forum Area under the title: “Evolution and Innovation of Asphalt Plants”.
Area Forum organized by SITEB (Italian Association of Asphalt Bitumen Roads).
