Bolstered by the reputation of the CMI TEREX (*) and CEDARAPIDS (*) brands, FAYAT is strengthening its presence in North America and structuring its distribution networks, in particular in the asphalt sector.
The opening of South American markets provides a tremendous opportunity and gives the FAYAT group a solid base on which to develop in this continent.
In the industrial field, the FAYAT group is a major player, specialising in the construction of road building equipment. The strategic orientation of the FAYAT group comprises three main areas:
- strengthening the line of products dedicated to road building, maintenance and recycling,
- being a global player, present in all markets, in particular European, Asian and American,
- being as close as possible to its customers and providing them with premium service.
With these acquisitions, the FAYAT group is considerably reinforcing and extending its product lines with two new paver-finisher ranges, BOMAG CEDARAPIDS and BOMAG Latin America, and with BOMAG CMI recyclers and stabilisers.
The introduction of the Material Transfer Vehicles (MTV) BOMAG CEDARAPIDS has produced a new line where the Group has so far been absent.
Finally, mixing plants made in Brazil by TEREX are now marketed under the MARINI Latin America brand. These extremely mobile production stations are well suited to the South-American market and generally satisfy demand from the southern hemisphere. They strengthen and complete the existing range of MARINI and MARINI-ERMONT plants which, although broad, was not well represented in smaller production outputs.
